Silver Birds
History
The first Austrian Air Force aerobatic team known as the "Silver Birds" was formed in 1966 flying with four CM-170 Fouga Magister jet trainers. The team lasted until 1968 when they were disbanded. In 1975, the team was reformed using four SAAB 105 trainers, but only a year later the "Silver Birds" were again disbanded.
