The new M-346 aircraft of Frecce Tricolori was presented in ceremony at Istrana Air Base today.
The aircraft will replace the present MB-339 aircraft in the following years.
It is notable that the livery is very different from the previous and not follow the tradition of liveries from F-86, G91 and MB-339 aircraft flown previously by the Frecce Tricolori.
Very disappointing on first look and I don't like this livery.
In 2013 other aircraft – Aermacchi M-345 was presented as a next team aircraft by nothing happened except one painted M-345 in Frecce Trocolori colors.
The M-346 designed and manufactured in Italy by Leonardo, already in use at the Italian Air Force for the advanced training of pilots, the M-346 aircraft that will allow the Frecce Tricolori to continue representing Italy in the world.
Also presented the livery of the new aircraft, designed by Pininfarina.
