Swallows aerobatic team badge

The "Swallows" were another Belgian Air Force aerobatic display team.

The team was formed in 1973 from within the Elementary Flying Training School using just two SIAI-Marchetti SF-260 trainers. In 1976, the team grew to three aircraft.

In 1983, their activities had to be halted for budgetary reasons, but, in 1985, the "Swallows" were re-established. This time the team was equipped with two SF-260s which were painted in an overall light blue color along with national flag stripes. The team was finally again disbanded in 1997.
