In 16 October 1981, the Brazilian Air Force established a new aerobatic team named "Esquadrilha Alouette" (Flight Squadron).
This team was composed of seven Aermacchi MB326 (AT-26 in Brazilian terminology) jet training aircraft. Esquadrilha Alouette planes were equipped with smoke generators and had the numbers from 1 to 7 painted on their vertical stabilizers. The following year two stripes - yellow and green were added to the bottom of each wing. The rest of the color scheme retained standard camouflage colors.
Esquadrilha Alouette aerobatic team lasted only until 1983.
