Yesterday The Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel outlined the Pentagon's new strategic, which includes a resuming the demonstrations of both US military display teams Blue Angels and Thunderbirds from 2014, but at a more limited frequency than in previous years.

The US Air Force Thunderbirds cancelled all 2013 show season from April 1st due to Government sequestrations, but in July the team resumed training flights, as the Air Force released funds for flying hours just to complete only the minimum flights that ensure the flying ability of the pilots and skills of the maintenance crew.

On the other hand, Blue Angels cancelled entire 2013 demonstrations in April.
