Yakovlevs
The Yakovlevs aerobatic display team is a civil UK four-ship team flying on Russian build Yak-52 airplanes. The lead plane is a specially build for the team two-seat aircraft with more powerful engine version called Super Yak-52. The team was formed in 1999 by its owner Jez Hopkinson, while the first public display was in 2000. In 2001 the Yakovlevs received its present paint scheme in silver and red colors.
