Blue Sabre
History
The first aerobatic team in the Republic of Korea Air Force (South Korea) was established in October 1953 flying with P-51 Mustang piston-engined fighters. This team lasted until 1958.
The “Blue Sabre” aerobatic display team was formed in 1962 flying with four specially- painted F-86 Sabre fighter. This team changed color schemes several times through the years and it existed until 1967.
