Test Pilots - Russian Aerobatic Display Teams

This team is established in early 90's from Gromov's Flying Research Institute in Zhukovsky airfield. This is the most often Russian aerobatic team, which visits foreign airshows and flies with two Su-27 family planes. During its existence in the team flies Su-30. Also on some airshows performed only one of the team planes. Aircrafts are painted in white, blue and red color scheme and use smoke generators.

Identical team from Gromov's Flying Research Institute in Zhukovsky, flying with two blue-yellow painted MiG-29 planes, existed till 1993, when both planes collided in mid-air during its display at RIAT airshow in Fairford. Both pilots ejected successfully and no peoples on the ground were injured.
